تأهل المنتخب الكاميروني في الملعب ضد جزر القمر الأسبوع الماضي خلال اليوم السادس والأخير من تصفيات كأس أمم أفريقيا 2019 لكنه لم يخرج نهائيا من المأزق
وكما أورد بعض المصادر فإن الاتحاد القمري لكرة القدم استطاع دفع جانب من المبلغ المطلوب مقدما كرسوم إداري في قضيتها ضد الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم، ونتيجة لذلك تطلب محكمة التحكيم الرياضي من الهيئة القائدة للكرة القدم الأفريقية بتقديم وسائل دفاعها في القضية المتعلقة بالمنتخب الكاميروني الأسود غير المروضة
وتكون بذلك للكاف 20 يوما لتقديم الوثائق والأدلة التي ستخدم في دفاعها لدى المحكمة الرياضية
ويذكر أن الاتحاد القمري لكرة القدم تقاضي الكاف متهما إياها بعدم سحب الكاميرون من السباق في وقت سحب الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم شرف التنظيم من الكاميرون، وذلك وفقا للوائح الكاف المنظمة للكأس الأفريقي
